Never satisfied to just sit on their haunches, ATI, and by extension AMD, has pursued an aggressive graphics card launch schedule these past few months. Starting with the high-end HD 5870 and 5850 and trickling down to the lower-priced value-oriented segments of the market, the graphics maker has finally started to fill in the gaps.

ATI decided to roll out the Radeon HD 5450, a new low-end discrete graphics card. The most affordable yet in their new 5000 series of cards, the 5450 is easily the cheapest way possible to take advantage of some of the cool new tricks found in the DirectX 11 API.
