Phoenix shows off super fast PC booting

Phoenix, the suppliers of most of the BIOS technologies we see computers using today, recently showed off a new ‘InstantBoot’ tech at the ongoing IDF. The new BIOS implementation allows PCs to blaze through the entire startup process in under a second — short times compared to the several it often takes to get to the Windows loading screen.
