Dell Sells More Computers, Claws Past Rival Acer

Less than a year after dropping from its longstanding second place ranking in the worldwide PC market, Dell overtook Acer to retain its number two status. Rival HP remained steadfastly in first place with 18.1% world market share – a status it stole from Dell roughly four years ago.
