3D PCs Set to Take Off, Says Research

Gaming will drive 3D PC adoption, which is set to explode over the next five years, says Jon Peddie Research (JPR). JPR released a report recently that looked at the stereoscopic 3D PC market. The research firm predicts that after less than a million 3D PCs are sold this year, that number will skyrocket to 75 million in 2014. The key components to a 3D PC won’t be its graphics subsystem but its monitor and glasses, along with 3D content in the form of games, movies, and TV programming.
